Penis-shaped skate park slammed by residents who have named it "the d*** bowl"

A planned skate park has been slammed by local residents after it was revealed that a skateboard bowl which appears in the design is shaped like a PENIS.
The sporting male member is part of plans for the outdoor attraction unveiled in Rangiora, Canterbury, in New Zealand, last week. 

But locals have been fuming over the cock-up, with some calling it the 'd*** bowl'.
Local skater Mark Pijnenburg helped with the design of the original park 20 years ago, and he's question the current designer, Dave North of Nelson Creek Skateboards.


"It's an environment where young people congregate. It could become a mockery of the process if everyone's referring to the park... as that one down the road with the penis shaped bowl," says Pijnenburg.
